BP Expands In Georgia

The exhibition - seminar which britano-American company BP carried out for the foreign and Georgian service companies was over in Georgia. During a seminar with participation of more than 200 interested companies, BP have acquainted them with the current condition and prospects of projects as the operator. Similar action BP has lead recently in Baku on behalf of the partners in the Azerbaijan international operational company and projects of development of a deposit "Shah - Deniz" and linings of the Basic export pipeline of Baku - Tbilisi-Dzhejhan. The majority of almost 350 service companies, participating in a seminar, including companies from the Great Britain, Japan, USA, do not work in Azerbaijan. At the end of May BP will open in Baku the Centre of business - support/Enterprise Centre/. First of all it will assist the foreign and local companies working in republic in development of their business in support of large oil-and-gas projects. The centre will render information services in the opportunities of suppliers current and the future opportunities of deliveries, questions of preservation of the environment and the safety precautions, the organization of the meetings previous to tenders etc. Besides the Centre will be engaged in questions of training of suppliers and granting of consulting services to serve as a place of realization of seminars, conferences and business meetings. The Georgian companies can receive the information necessary to them through the Internet.
