Kasyanov To Inspect Blue Stream Project

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov will visit the Krasdonar region tomorrow. The aim of his trip is to familiarize himself with the progress of the Blue Stream project. This pipeline will stretch from Russia to the port of Samsun in Turkey along the bottom of the Black Sea. According to the government's information department, Kasyanov will fly around the site of construction in a helicopter, visit the Saipen-7000 pipe-laying vessel and will be briefed on deep-sea pipeline laying technology. The program of his trip to the Krasnodar region also envisages a meeting with local authorities and participants in the Blue Stream project. Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller will accompany the premier on this visit.
