The main task of Business in Russia, an organisation being set up, will be to generate business initiatives for the Russian government, said Igor Lisinenko, chairman of the parliamentary association Business in Russia, speaking at a news conference on Tuesday. According to him, at Tuesday's meeting with representative of the new organisation, Russian President Vladimir Putin supported the creation under Business in Russia of a centre for economic ideas, which will concern itself with the drafting of economic projects for submission to the State Duma, government and presidential administration. Lisinenko said that the new organisation will express the interests of medium business, which is oriented mainly on the domestic market. Among priorities he mentioned creation of a favourable environment for business in Russia.
