Russian automobile industry's annual turnover $6.5bn

The estimated annual turnover of the Russian automobile industry is some $6.5bn. The car share in this figure is 60 percent, the truck share is 25 percent and the bus share is 15 percent. These figures were declared at a round table meeting of automobile manufactures and consumers devoted to problems of the development of production of Russian vehicles for special purposes. The meeting was organized by the Federal Information Center and Avtoselkhozmash-holding.

According to the results of the first six months of 2002, some 80,676 trucks, which was 99.9 percent compared to the figure in the corresponding period last year, 507,844 cars (102.3 percent) and 31,779 buses (133.1 percent) were produced in Russia.

A year after the constitutional referendum of December 4th, 2016 that saw the victory of the NAY and the blatant defeat of the government front that had proposed the referendum, it can be said with certainty that the trauma for the defeated is now past. But there is still fear in them, not so hidden either...
