A representative delegation of French businessmen arrived in Moscow on June 17 for a three-day visit, during which it will negotiate trade and economic cooperation with Russia. According to the French embassy, the delegation consists of 50 entrepreneurs from various fields of business.
On Tuesday, the delegation meets with Industry, Science and Technology Minister Ilya Klebanov, with the top leaders of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and with representatives of Russia's French business community.
Talks will mostly center on bilateral trade cooperation between Russia and France and between Russia and the European Union, and also on negotiations for Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization.
The delegation's visit ends on Wednesday afternoon.
The choice of the city of Helsinki is not incidental as the capital of Finland had hosted US-Soviet negotiations on the limitation of nuclear stockpiles in 1969
