Tax Collection Improves In Russia The tax revenues of the consolidated budget amounted to RUR1.381 trillion (about $46.7bn) for the first nine months of 2001, which is 34.8 per cent more that in the similar period of the previous year, Tax Minister Gennadiy Bukayev announced at a press conference today. The federal budget received RUR670bn (about $22.7bn) in tax collections, which is RUR31bn (about $1.05bn) more than the target assignment. The minister drew special attention to the fact that the rate of tax collection from individuals had reached 50 per cent against the previous year.
