Presidential Advisor comments on Gazprom plans

Gazprom has enough investment possibilities to implement the project on constructing the North European Gas Pipeline, Presidential Economic Advisor Andrey Illarionov declared today. According to him, although the gas holding has not finished the Yamal-Europe project, it will not hinder the construction of a pipeline, which will bring the Russian gas giant to the British market.

Speaking about the coming restructuring of Russia's gas sector, Illarionov did not give his opinion about this issue noting that several variants of the restructuring of the gas monopolist had been submitted to the government.
