The participants in the First Economic Forum of the Euro-Asian Economic Community (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan) proposed to the EURASEC leaders to hold such conferences annually in different member-states of the EURASEC.
The second day of the EURASEC Economic Forum plenary session was devoted to reviewing the results of the seven round tables' work.
The discussion of co-operation in the real sector of economy between the EURASEC member-states resulted in recognising the need to establish branches of EURASEC Business Council Association in the EURASEC countries.
It was also proposed to discuss a EURASEC Information Council on the basis of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre. It was recommended to use the EU and Kazakhstan pattern of financial co-operation. It was stressed that Kazakhstan's financial markets show very good results as regards the country's economic development.
As for the round table on co-operation in the fuel-energy complex, the EURASEC member-states' governments were proposed to step up their efforts at creating a single energy market in 2003-2005 along with a wholesale electric energy market.
With regard to the integration in transport and customs spheres, the forum's participants recommended to speed up establishment of a single customs area and single transportation union, to promote North-South transport corridors, introduce the Two Borders-One Stop and Green Corridor systems in the Community member-states.
As for co-operation in the agricultural complex, it was recommended to implement concerted agrarian policies on the CIS countries' basis and to prepare an agreement on a single agrarian market. It was also recognised necessary to set up a council of EURASEC agricultural ministers.
The participants in the round table on the establishment of a single information area believe that it is necessary to set up under the EURASEC Integration Committee a consultative council on information politics with heads of press ministries and media of the EURASEC member-states.
