The State Duma rejected amendments to the Article 4 of a law 'On the Privatization of Housing Sphere in Russia' today. They were earlier passed on the first reading. The amendments were proposed by the Moscow City Duma. According to them it is prohibited to privatize apartments, which are in the state and municipal property. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin spoke against this measure, as it violates people's right for privatization of apartments.
