A meeting of the Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will be held today. The meeting will be devoted to reviewing the results of the organization's work in 2001, including the results of the work of the Union's task groups for major problems of the economic reforms and improvement of the legislation. Igor Yurgens, executive secretary of the Union, will make a report on this issue. Severstal General Director Alexei Mordashov, who is the head of the task group for questions of Russia's membership in the WTO, will make a report on the cooperation between businesses and the authorities at the stage of the preparations for joining this organization. Arkady Volsky, president of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, will inform members of the Board about the results of the meeting of the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Leonid Kuchma, with representatives of the business circles of the two countries, as well as about the measures being taken by entrepreneurs' unions of the two countries to continue the process of integration of the economies of Russia and Ukraine.
