A ceremony of opening a plenary meeting of a task force of the intergovernmental forum 'Asian and Pacific Economic Cooperation' on telecommunications and information technologies will be held in Moscow today. At the meeting, in which 250 delegates from the member state of the forum will participate, the issues of telecommunications and information technologies will be considered, including the development of the Internet, remote training and the problems of information security. In the 'Asian and Pacific Economic Cooperation' forum, which was established in 1989, 21 countries of the Asian-Pacific region take part, including Russia.
