Gov't to enhance stock market media coverage

One of the problems of the development of the Russian stock market is inadequate mass media coverage of the stock market, Chairman of the Russian Federal Securities Commission Igor Kostikov told a press call held in the House of Government. Therefore the Russian government commissioned the Securities Commission and the Press Ministry with considering this problem and finding the ways of attracting the mass media's attention to the stock market. The official stressed the public did not have sufficient information on how the stock market was developing and operating.

As it was reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers discussed today the measures aimed at developing Russia's stock market.
