The Russian Aluminum company (RusAl) considers China a possible partner inconstructing a new aluminum plant in Siberia, RusAl deputy head AlexanderLivshits stated to journalists in Shanghai. According to him, it is plannedto build the plant in the Irkutsk region. Its planned production capacityis to be 500,000 tons of aluminum per year. Livshits pointed out that thecompany was currently holding negotiations on searching for a partner forcooperation on the project.
