Australia's AurionGold had sold its remaining 21% stake in Zimbabwe Platinum Mines for $19-million yesterday. AurionGold sold the shares to Impala Platinum Holdings at A$1,90 a share. The shares in Zimbabwe Platinum Mines were sold at a price of $1,90 a share, resulting in proceeds before tax of $35,3-million. Impala Platinum Holdings already has a 30% stake in Zimplats as well as a 30% stake in the company's Ngezi platinum mine in Zimbabwe. AurionGold shares closed 3,9% weaker at $2,93, while Zimplats ended unchanged at $1,33.
