Russia Needs USD 300 Million for Development of International Space Station

Some USD 250-300 million are needed to develop the Russian zone of the International Space Station over the 2003-2006 period, Rosaviakosmos General Director Yury Koptev declared at a news conference on Thursday February 20.

In 2003 some 28 experiments are expected to be carried out in the Russian zone of the station. 22 of these experiments have already been started.
