Inflation Reaches 0.8% In Russia On October 1-22

Consumer prices went up 0.3% on October 16-22 in Russia. According to the State Statistics Committee, the rate of inflation reached 0.8% since the beginning of October. An average daily increase in prices was estimated as equal to 0.035% in October, compared to 0.02% in September and 0.067% in October of 2000. Since the beginning of this year, the rate of inflation amounted to 13.8%. If the current consumer price index remains unchanged, October inflation may reach 1.1-1.3%, the committee reported.
