Russian Energy Minister Igor Yusufov and US Ambassador to Russia Alexander Vershbow discussed energy collaboration between Russia and the USA in Moscow today, the Energy Ministry's press service reported. They talked about a third meeting of the Russian-US joint ministry task force for energy collaboration to be held in Washington on April 7 and 8. Yusufov informed the US official about preparations for the meeting that was organized together with Russian and US oil and gas companies as well as the Russian and US energy agencies. Finally, Yusufov and Vershbow considered collaboration within the International Energy Agency and preparations for a second business energy summit scheduled to be held in Russia in September 2003.
