Data on Russia's exports to Iraq released

According to the data of the Russian Economy Ministry, exports from Russiato Iraq amounted to $61.7m in the first quarter of 2002, while no importswere registered. As the press service of the Ministry reported, in 2001exports from Russia to Iraq reached $186.9m. On the other hand, there wereno imports from Iraq to Russia last year. In the first quarter of 2002, theexports of machines, equipment and vehicles amounted to about $47m, boilermaintenance facilities - about $10m, bulldozers and excavators -$2.5m,lifting-and-conveying machines - $2m, tires - $670,000, rails - $537,000,pipes - $362,000, and plywood - $312,000..
