GM-AvtoVAZ to export Chevy-Niva to Western Europe - 27 March, 2003 - News

In autumn 2003 the joint venture GM-AvtoVAZ is planning to start exports of Chevy-Niva SUVs to Western Europe, the company told RBC. Recently the enterprise has made the first contract on supplies of its cars to Mexico.

This year the enterprise is planning to manufacture 35,000 off-road cars. The production is expected to grow to 75,000 cars by 2005.
