IMF Experts Come To Moscow For Budget Policy Consultations

On Tuesday, experts of the International Monetary Fund mission arrived in Moscow for preliminary consultations with Russian economic institutions on budgetary policies, said the Moscow IMF office. IMF experts will have preliminary consultations at, particularly, the Finance Ministry and the Central Bank. The bulk of work of the IMF mission will begin next week upon arrival to the Russian capital of the IMF chief delegate, Gerard Belanger, deputy director of the IMF's second European department. He has been guiding work of the IMF Moscow mission for the last three years. The consultations, which will focus on the present state of the Russian economy, envisage an opinion exchange on the dynamics of the main macroeconomic indicators.
