French Agricultural Firms Studying Cooperation Opportunities in Bashkiria - 28 March, 2003 - News

Representatives of the Association for Developing an International Exchange of Goods and Technology in the Agricultural Sector and the French Economic Affairs Mission arrived in Ufa yesterday to discuss cooperation with firms in Bashkiria. According to the republic's Ministry for Foreign Trade Ties, the French delegation is headed by Jean-Jacques Herve, an advisor to the French Ambassador.

During the two-day visit, the French delegation plans to meet the head of the Bashkirian Agriculture Ministry and visit various local agricultural enterprises. Particular attention is being given to firms specializing in pedigree cattle rearing and the production of agricultural equipment.
