Asmara Interested in Russian Companies' Involvement in Eritrea's Marine Resources Development

Asmara is interested in Russian companies' involvement in the development of Eritrea's marine resources.

At bilateral foreign ministerial consultations in Moscow, Eritrea stressed its interest in the expansion of interaction with Russia in education and geological prospecting, the Russian Foreign Ministry's press department has told RIA Novosti.

The sides exchanged opinions on the key international issues. Russia and Eritrea noted the closeness of their approaches to key problems of our time, including the struggle against international terrorism.

The Russian Foreign Ministry added that in Moscow the sides had also spoken out in favour of the soonest restoration of peace and goodneighbourliness in the Horn of Africa subregion.
