Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a message of greetings to the staff of the Russian-Vietnamese joint venture Vietsovpetro. The president congratulated the enterprise on "its significant date - the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the joint venture - Vietsovpetro, the production of the 100 millionth ton of oil and on its second honorary title - the Hero of Labour of Vietnam. "During its history, Vietsovpetro has covered a glorious path of labour. It has become a recognised leader of the Vietnamese economy and has become one of the ten most efficient companies in the world," says the message of greetings from the Russian President. "Today you are facing the tasks of a large scale - to fulfil the decisions taken by the governments of our countries - to expand the area of the enterprise's activity and to prospect and develop new oil and gas deposits. I am sure that your close-knit international team will cope with these tasks," writes the Russian President.
