State Council to consider problems of coal industry

A meeting of the Presidium of the State Council of the Russian Federation will take place in the city of Mezhdurechensk, the Kemerovo region, today.The session will be headed by Russian president Vladimir Putin and it willbe devoted to problems of the coal industry. According to Energy Minister Igor Yusufov, the Energy Ministry will submitits proposals on creating conditions for the advance in the coal productionand taking measures aimed at increasing a demand for it on the domesticmarket.Aman Tuleyev, governor of the Kemerovo region, will make a report devotedto main directions of development of the coal industry.The President has already met with the governor and discussed issuesconcerning the coal industry. .
