Finance Ministry fixes maximum volume of credits for foreign countries

Russian Finance Ministry determined the maximum volume of credits forforeign countries and investments into joint ventures for 2003 outsideRussia at RUR27.217bn, or $800.5m, according to the federal budget draftfor 2003. The maximum volume of funds to be allocated from the federalbudget for the implementation of agreements in the countries of theCommonwealth of the Independent States (CIS) will be RUR2.238bn (around$69.84m) in 2003, including maximum contributions into the single budget ofCIS authorities fixed at RUR115.45m (around $3.66m) and contributions intothe budget of the Eurasian Economic Community of RUR36.3m (around $1.15m).As it was reported earlier, in 2002 the maximum volume of state credits forforeign countries was RUR15.75bn, or $500m..
