The Yabloko faction will support the 2002 budget draft on the third reading, deputy head of the faction Sergey Ivanenko announced at a meeting with journalists today after the faction held a meeting with Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin. In general, Yabloko is satisfied with its joint work with the government on the budget draft. Ivanenko believes that the 2002 budget is quite possible to implement despite a fall in oil prices. In his turn, Kudrin stressed that Yabloko deputies were working actively on the budget draft, especially on amendments concerning the financial reserve budgeted for the next year. The Finance Ministry is sure the State Duma will approve the 2002 budget draft on the third reading.
