Vladimir Putin Confers With Top Government And Presidential-administration Officials

President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation conferred with top Cabinet and presidential-administration officials here today. Talking to RIA Novosti, Putin's spokesman Alexei Gromov noted that the conference was attended by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, presidential-administration chief Alexander Voloshin, Interior Minister Boris Gryzlov, Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov and FSB (Federal Security Service) director Nikolai Patrushev. In Gromov's words, those taking part in the conference discussed topical issues of Russia's domestic and foreign policy.
