Yastrzhembsky and Rakhmonov discussed the preservation of Russian TV channels in the Tajik information space. Moscow believes that "it meets the interests of both countries and the Tajik people who like Russian TV programmes and are used to them," Yastrzhembsky stressed. In addition, they discussed the restoration of the retransmitter in Kolkhozabad in order to broadcast Russian programmes in Afghanistan, Yastrzhembsky said.
