Russian Peacemakers Leaving, Bosnian Serbs Upset

The representatives of Bosnian Serbs expressed their discontent with the withdrawal of Russian peacemakers. The peacemakers have left according to the international agreement on the reorganisation of international peacemaking forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Lazar Vulyalic, one of the leaders of the Serbian Renaissance movement said Russian peacemakers were the guarantee of law and order in the area. Over the past four years, not a single serious violation of the law had occurred in the responsibility zone of the Russian contingent.
