Russian President Vladimir Putin today held a Kremlin meeting with the leadership of the country's armed forces. The president's press secretary announced that the participants in the meeting had discussed strategic stability and the fight against terrorism. They paid particular attention to the issue of cuts in strategic offensive weapons. Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov and Chief of the General Staff Anatoly Kvashnin participated in the meeting.
