Russian President Vladimir Putin negotiated separately with commanders of military districts and fleets, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov told journalists during the break in the meeting of the Armed Forces General Staff. The president let the commanders speak on the problems of the development of the Armed Forces. They discussed the problems of modern weapons' supplies to the army and repairs of vessels, Sergei Ivanov stressed. They also considered the issues of training of aviation, fleet and land forces. This meeting was useful both for the General Staff of the Armed Forces and for commanders of military districts and fleets, the minister said.
