Vladimir Putin is satisfied with the results of his visit to France.
As he told Russian journalists after the visit, his impressions were "very good." "The trip was very eventful," he said, referring to the business part of the visit. The sides had had a detailed discussion of bilateral economic co-operation, especially that in the spheres of high technologies, trade, and agriculture. As far as these spheres are concerned, there are "many concrete plans," said the president, adding that he was sure they would be realised.
The sides had also discussed co-ordination of actions on the international scene and strengthening of the mechanisms of co-operation. Much attention had been paid to the expansion of links between Russia and the European Union.
The Russian president praised the level of Russian-French co-operation in the military-and-technical sphere, pointing out that it had been 35 years since the two countries began co-operating in the aerospace business.
He also recalled joint projects dealing with aviation, specifically the project of creating a MiG-AT trainer plane - an aircraft Russia and France intended to promote in third countries, namely in North Africa and Asia, the Su-30MKS fighter, and the Mi-38 helicopter.
