A convention of all "patriotic" parties of Europe will be held in Moscow inSeptember, LD leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky announced at a press conferencein Moscow today. He specified that representatives of about 30-40"patriotic" European parties would arrive in Moscow for the convention,which would take place on September 15 and 16. French National Front leaderJean-Marie Le Pen is expected to participate in the convention. Accordingto Zhirinovsky, speeches of some participants would be broadcasted by thecentral television stations in Russia.The LD (the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia) leader stressed that thisconvention was aimed at demonstrating that they "are not fascists orracists but ordinary patriots of Europe."
