"All Russia" Congress Advocates Uniting With "Otechestvo" And "Yedinstvo"

The delegates to the congress of the All Russia movement decided to set up a single political party jointly with Otechestvo (Fatherland) and Yedinstvo (Unity), a RIA Novosti correspondent reports. The congress resolution reads that All Russia will submit this proposal to Otechestvo and Yedinstvo. "A powerful political party disputing the values of true patriotism and democracy, freedom and justice and a strong state" should be created in Russia, the delegates to the congress believe. "We are obliged to turn our organisation into a party of civil peace, social and national accord," the document emphasises. According to the delegates, the ideological and political unity is much more important than any tactical controversies. "The final overcome of our organisational disunity is a major factor of political consolidation of society, rehabilitation of the national economy, and legal provision of reforms," reads the congress resolution.
