President Putin of Russia has declared that international terrorist Khattab, a Jordanian by birth, was liquidated with the direct participation of the Chechen population.
Speaking at the press-conference for Russian and foreign journalists in the Kremlin on Monday, President Putin noted that "Khattab's destruction has become possible not only thanks to the use of agents," foreign ones included, but also "with the direct participation of the Chechen population." Putin said that he could cite more examples of the Chechen population's participation in eliminating terrorists. "This is something that should be more often spoken of," said the President.
