Government And Special Envoys To Receive Instructions On The Basis Of Questions To Putin

At the end of his live TV question and answer session today, President Vladimir Putin told journalists that the questions submitted to him would be collected and instructions to the government, special presidential envoys and local federal bodies of power would be formulated on their basis. The collected questions will then be sent to the Federation Council, the president said. Putin also stressed that events of this kind gave him a possibility to understand what the country was waiting for and what concerned citizens the most. According to him, the results of sociological surveys show that, above all, Russian citizens were last year interested in Chechnya and the fight against terrorism. Today they are more interested in social issues and this can only be a positive trend, the president concluded.
