Putin says somebody needs terrorists to be in Georgia

Georgia is yearning to get rid of Chechen terrorists in the country,Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with special troops inChita. The Russian leader expressed hope "Georgian authorities willseriously tackle this problem". On the other hand, Putin was quoted assaying it seems "somebody needs" the presence of Chechen militants inGeorgia "to accelerate the situation". The Russian President referred tothe data of Russian and foreign information agencies and pointed out he"looks them through time and again". Putin expressed certainty that in thefuture Russia and Georgia would be able to cooperate in solving the problemof liquidating Chechen terrorists in Georgia. The President underscoredthat "without Russia's help, we're going to kick terrorists around from onenook to another"..
