22 Russian athletes among 100 world's best track-and-fielders

International Amateur Athletics Federation /IAAF/ published new rating list of the top 200 world's athletes. 22 Russians were included in the top 100 list - 19 female and 3 male athletes.

The highest standing in the list of female athletes is occupied by Russian athlete in Triple Jump Tatyana Lebedeva /4th place/, who is followed by Svetlana Feofanova in Pole Vault /15th place/ and Yulia Pechyonkina in 400m Hurdles /25th place/.

The Russian male athletes occupy the following standings in the list: 27th - Yury Borzakov /400m/, 30th - Sergey Makarov /Javelin Throw/, 99th - Yaroslav Rybakov /High Jump/.

The female rating list is topped by South African high jumper Hestrie Cloete and the male list is by famous runner from Morocco Hicham al-Guerrouj.
