Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) outstripped its rival, Intel, on the market of microprocessors during the first quarter of the current year.
Chip maker’s share of revenue on the global market of microprocessors rose by 2.2 percentage points vs. the same period of the last year to 13 percent. Intel’s sales of microprocessors dropped by 0.7 percentage points.
