The new Russian airliner Tu-204-300 will for the first time be presented at the International Air and Space Show MAKS-2003 which will open on August 19 in the town of Zhukovsky in the Moscow region. According to experts, the main advantage of the new trunk-route plane is its flying range. It can make non-stop flights for up to 10,000 kilometres, that is, from Moscow to the Russian Far East and, in the western direction, it can cover the whole of Europe.
The Tu-204-300 is the sixth modification of the plane of the Tupolev family. An elite class plane and a plane for the Air Force will be designed on its basis.
After the air show certification tests of the plane will begin.
The Chinese military believe that Beijing and Moscow must resist pressure from Washington together
