Putin congratulates writer Chingiz Aitmatov on 75th birthday

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated well-known writer Chingiz Aitmatov on his 75th birthday.

The congratulation message says in particular: "The readers link big literature and high culture of the word with the name of Chingiz Aitmatov, outstanding writer and thinker. Your art makes the reader think, empathize and share responsibility for what is around. Each of your works is a search for the truth, a lesson of the good and just.
