International exhibition of architecture to open in Saint Petersburg on June 16

The fourth international exhibition Architecture. Town planning. Restoration will open in Saint Petersburg tomorrow. The event is being organised by the RESTEK exhibition union (Germany).

As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the organisers, two different schools of restoration and town planning are being exhibited: Russian and European. The main themes will be: general plans for the development of towns and villages; landscape architecture; restoration of town buildings and monuments; property and investment; insurance in the construction industry. Separate exhibitions will concern the restoration of temples, cathedrals and churches; the restoration of paintings and interiors.

Participants and guests at the exhibition will also take part in the conference Maintenance and development of historic cities. Prospects for the further development of Saint Petersburg as well as other round-table discussions.

The exhibition will close on June 19.
