Russian scientists ask UNESCO to create world science encyclopaedia on Internet

Russian scientists have asked UNESCO to create an internet database with information about the world's scientific heritage. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, this was announced today by Yuri Yakovets, president of the International P.Sorokin/N. Kondratieff Institute. He said the institute has already begun provisional work on the project and has created websites on several world-renowned scientists. 'It is essential that young people have access to information about the world's scientific heritage,' Mr Yakovets stressed.
