Hanover to host Days of Kuban in Germany

The Days of Kuban in Germany will open on Saturdy in the German city of Hanover, the land of Lower Saxony.

The aim of this comprehensive presentation is to acquaint German business circles with the economic potential of the Krasnodar territory, and possibilities for investment in the region, the organizing committee's representative Peter Den told RIA Novosti.

Two conferences will be held within the framework of the event, "Krasnodar: investment climate and support to investors in the region" and "The Krasnodar territory: export possibilities". Krasnodar territory governor Alexander Tkachev and President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yevgeny Primakov will take part in the opening. On the whole about 150 Russian experts are expected to attend the presentation.

The schedule also includes Russian-German round-table discussions on such topic as "Agriculture of the Krasnodar territory", "Wines of South Russia", "Krasnodar: Food Production", "Tourism Opportunities in South Russia" and "High Technologies in the Krasnodar territory".

The Days of Kuban have been organized by the Krasnodar territory government, the Commerce and Industry Chambers of Russia, Krasnodar and Hanover and by the Hanover World Trade Centre.

The event will continue till Tuesday, May 20th.
