One year lasts for 8.5 hours on planet Kepler 78b
Astronomers, thanks to Kepler telescope, foгnd a planet, where a year lasts for 8.5 hours. The planet is situated 700 light years from Earth.
The planet was named Kepler 78b.
Its speed in orbit is 40 times smaller than orbit of Mercury. The temperature on planet Kepler 78b, according to physicists' calculations, makes up approximately 3,000 degrees Celsius. Allegedly, one of sides of the planet is completely covered with lava.
