International Art Festival Opens in Moscow

The seventh international art festival ART MOSCOW opened today at the House of Artists in Moscow. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed at the House of Artists, the festival is an annual forum for contemporary art culture. The festival will include a number of international, national and regional exhibitions of contemporary art as well as a series of special projects, lectures and classes. 37 different galleries from Russia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, France, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Estonia and Latvia are participating at the festival. The festival will run until April 27.

From May 2 to 7 the third exhibition Workshop ART MOSCOW will be held at the House of Artists which will include the work of 25-30 of the best contemporary artists in Russia, selected by leading art critics. The event is being organised by the Russian Culture Ministry and the Moscow Culture Committee.
