Julio Iglesias gives solo in Moscow

Julio Iglesias, the famous Spanish singer, is giving a solo concert at the Moscow International House of Music on Wednesday. The hour-and-a-half program includes the singer's recent hits, including a number of compositions from his latest album, "Carretera." On Thursday, he will sing the same songs at the State Kremlin Palace. He is also said to be planning to sing a few Russian songs that are "popular here in Russia," as he puts it.

The program of Iglesias's stay in Moscow contains a long list of cultural and entertainment events, including visits to the Historical Museum and the Red Square, a nighttime boat trip down the Moscow river, and a trip to a local restaurant serving Oriental cuisine.
