The first exhibition, entitled Greeks' Gold and scheduled to open on February 28, will feature jewelry made by Greeks living on the Black Sea over 2500 years ago. The next exhibition will be the project Nikolai and Alexandra, which will be devoted to the life of the last Russian tsar. There are also plans to exhibit 18th century Venetian art.

The press office pointed out that this is not the first foreign branch of the Hermitage Museum to be opened. There are also branches in London and Las Vegas. However, the Amsterdam branch is expected to become the leading branch of the museum abroad containing the largest exhibits of the Russian museum's collection.
