Deng Xiaoping's daughter received in Russian Foreign Ministry

On Tuesday 1st Deputy Foreign Minister Eleonora Mitrofanova met with renowned Chinese public figure Deng Rong, who had arrived in Moscow to present the Russian edition of her book My Father Deng Xiaoping During the Cultural Revolution.

This was disclosed by the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Deng Rong and Eleonora Mitrofanova discussed relations of strategic partnership that have been maintained by the two countries and hoped for their social basis to expand and enhance, including with the help of the Sino-Chinese Committee for Peace, Friendship and development, the department reported.

Deng Rong is Deputy Chairman of the committee's Chinese party.

The meeting in the Russian Foreign Ministry was attended by Valentina Tereshkova, member of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Collegium, head of the Russian Foreign Centre and the world's 1st female astronaut.
