OLDER people can help themselves with elementary exercises

The researchers found that walking, cycling and weightlifting all helped reduce metabolic syndrome - the potentially deadly mix of risk factors that can make a person more likely to develop heart disease, diabetes or stroke.

The latest study, published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, was said to be the first to look at the role of exercise in treating metabolic syndrome in &to=http://english.pravda.ru/main/18/90/360/12369_Diet.html' target=_blank>older people.
